This isn’t just a show. It’s an investigation. And this night matters—for more than one reason.

Originally a "severely gothic" Methodist church, Father John’s is a breathtaking blend of history and hospitality. But beneath the award-winning craft beer and bison steaks lies a deep-seated secret. During a 2012 renovation, workers unearthed a sealed crypt containing the remains of an unidentified church member from the 1800s. Today, that coffin remains a central feature, viewed through plexiglass by those brave enough to dine above it.

 

From the disembodied whispers in the lower levels to the spirits of a woman and child reported in the adjacent Stoned Goat Inn, Father John’s is a location where the past is never truly at rest.

Season One: Origins of the Movement

 

This event is a featured part of our Season One theme. We bridge the gap between 19th-century mystery and modern science by exploring the Origins of the Spiritualist Movement. Alongside our digital sensors, we will conduct sessions using "Ancestral Methods" the same low-tech, high-focus techniques used by seekers when this church was first dedicated in 1896.

The Charity Event: Investigation with Purpose

 

This August, we invite you to an extended 8-hour experience designed to slow the pace and deepen the connection. This is a Charity-Focused Event: 25% of net ticket profits from paid admissions will be donated to a suicide prevention organization.

 

The Full Experience (Dinner + Investigation) | $175

8:00 PM – 4:00 AM | Ages 21+ The ultimate evening of "spiritual food and drink."

• The Group Dinner (8:00 PM): Begin the night with a seated group dinner in one of the most unique dining rooms in America. (Dinner tickets are strictly capped to maintain an intimate atmosphere).

• Pre-selected menu items will be available closer to event night.

• The Extended Investigation: Includes everything in the General Admission tier.

Paranormal Masterclass | $150

10:00 PM – 4:00 AM | Ages 21+

• The Masterclass: Join our lead investigators for rotating sessions through the church and the crypt. Master the use of modern EMF instruments, spirit boxes, and historical spiritualist tools.

• Late-Night Access: After the guided sessions, the location settles. You will have extended hours to investigate, observe, and reflect in the early morning stillness.

• All Gear Provided: We provide professional equipment (personal gear is welcome). Snacks and beverages are included throughout the night.

Important Policies

• Sobriety for Safety: While Father John’s is a brewery, alcohol is not permitted during the investigation. Guests must be sober enough to move safely through the historic location. Visibly intoxicated guests will be removed without refund.

• Age Requirement: 21+ only for this exclusive event.

• Zero Tolerance: Aggressive behavior or disrespect toward the property, staff, or spirits will result in immediate removal.

• Authenticity: This is a real investigation, not a "haunted house." No activity is faked, and while the building is active, no specific paranormal phenomena can be guaranteed.

• Commitment: All sales are final. Events operate rain or shine.
