Get ready to be part of something historic. For the first time ever, the doors are opening for a public paranormal investigation inside one of Lynchburg’s oldest and most iconic landmarks: the legendary Miller-Claytor House.

On Friday, July 17th, guests will have the rare opportunity to investigate this historic 18th-century home after dark and explore the stories, energy, and unexplained activity that have remained hidden from the public for generations.

Built in 1791, the Miller-Claytor House has stood for more than 230 years. It has survived relocation, witnessed the growth of Lynchburg and Virginia, and even welcomed historical figures such as Thomas Jefferson. While the home is well known for its architecture and the famous tale of Jefferson eating a “poisonous” tomato from its garden, what may still linger inside its walls has never been publicly explored until now.
