LEGENDS AFTER DARK
Where the Wild Meets the Cosmos
Some mysteries aren't meant to be explored from behind a podium.
They're discovered beneath towering oaks... Around a crackling campfire... Where every rustle in the woods makes you pause... And every star overhead reminds us how much remains unknown.
The Expo doesn't begin when the doors open. It begins here. Join us for the official kickoff of the Rock Island Roadhouse Esoteric Expo as we gather beneath the night sky at Blackhawk Forest for an unforgettable evening of conversation, exploration, and discovery.
Leading the evening is Dr. Rebecca Foster, a Ph.D. in Health Sciences whose extraordinary journey began at just four years old when she first experienced the unseen world. Today, after more than 60,000 intuitive readings, assisting law enforcement with missing person and homicide investigations, authoring five books, and sharing firsthand encounters with ghosts, Sasquatch, fairies, trolls, extraterrestrials, and other unexplained phenomena, she continues to challenge audiences to look beyond what they believe is possible.
Joining her is Zach Skrede, a United States Air Force veteran and founder of Central Wisconsin CE-5. Drawing upon his studies at the internationally renowned Monroe Institute, Zach explores the fascinating connection between human consciousness and contact with non-human intelligence. His work invites people to consider that perhaps the greatest frontier isn't found in the stars, but within ourselves.
Completing the evening is Erik Nanstiel, author of Angst in the Shadows and A Blood Covenant, whose research explores alien contact, human origins, ancient civilizations, and humanity's place in a much larger cosmic story. Featured on Ancient Aliens, Dreamland, Earthfiles, and the subject of an official MUFON investigation, Erik brings together history, research, and personal experience to examine questions that continue to challenge conventional thinking.
Together, these three remarkable voices offer something rarely found at a single event.
One approaches the unknown through decades of firsthand spiritual experience.
One explores consciousness as the bridge between humanity and the cosmos.
One examines history, evidence, and the possibility that our story is far older, and far stranger, than we realize.
As the fire burns and darkness settles over Black Hawk Forest, the conversation will naturally move between Bigfoot, consciousness, extraterrestrial encounters, ancient mysteries, folklore, personal experiences, and the questions that continue to inspire explorers, researchers, and experiencers around the world.
There is no stage.
No lecture hall.
Just a campfire...
The woods...
The stars...
And a conversation you'll remember long after the fire burns out.
✨ A Special Request from Dr. Rebecca Foster
Before you arrive, we'd like to invite you to become part of the experience.
Please bring one small shiny gift to leave as an offering in the forest before the evening concludes. It can be something simple—a glow stick, a polished stone, a small plastic gem, a shiny bead, or another small reflective trinket.
Many people who study and investigate Sasquatch have shared stories about gifts left in the forest and a fascination with shiny objects. Whether you see it as tradition, symbolism, or simply a fun way to participate, everyone will have the opportunity to leave their offering together as we conclude our evening beneath the stars.
Who knows...
Perhaps your gift will become part of a story someone tells around the next campfire.
