My name is Jenny, and I started Night Bloom as a local public investigation hub for my small town in Indiana due to high demand. I have been investigating for about a year and never anticipated there would be requests that I host my own events, but it brought me here, and I am honored. The first ever investigation I ever attended was actually a public as well, at a location that many of you may know, the Indiana State Sanatorium. We didn't know what we were doing or what we should have been doing, I don't regret using public events as a learning tool. However, the three that we did attend, were crammed with as many people as the venue could fit with many people staking claim of certain areas and judging beginners like us. The hostees were also constantly busy because they had close to 100 people needing their attention. Not only that, but the price of the tickets were outrageous ($150 per person). It felt very corrupt and if I didn't have love for this hobby, it could have ruined my desire to continue or branch out on my own.
Night Bloom vows to be different than the countless other event organizers. We don't see this as a job and we don't see this as a way to milk money out of the public. We are NOT making profit from these events. We are doing this because we love to travel and explore all the locations scattered throughout the Midwest, and we would love to help people who want to make this a hobby but need guidance. We also will NOT be like the other hosts and book 50-100+ people. Currently our groups run from 6-10 people so you will have a much more comfortable, intimiate, and enjoyable experience. We will laugh, take pictures, investigate genuinely, and make unforgettable memories that will hopefully keep you coming back to our events. We strive to be different... we dare you to find out for yourself! We are powered by love of the paranormal, of the people that we are communicating with, the history and preservation of the locations, and the love of knowledge. There is no such thing as a professional investigator. We learn something on every investigation we conduct. This is a judgement free zone.
