As social media swallows up paranormal, the topic that once captivated our curiosity is now dumbed down to hashtags, Reels, trends, made up titles and "talent".
The philosophy of paranormal is set aside for 24/7 entertainment, dressed up by AI images and words.
Rarely are theories spoken about, expanded on and much less, new ones discovered.
Instead of mentioning the educators, scientists, philosophers and more, that created the Society for Psychical Research (1882), we gather in MASSES to follow someone with numbers and a network logo attached to their name.
All while the art of conversation continues to become less and less important.
Reality is, social media has become a lower tier of entertainment.
Experiences everyday people have, get pushed to the side, creating yet another reason to not share, not explore or shy away from the topic all together.
But what I have found in my six years of podcast and almost 4 years of working in one of the larger paranormal networks/event businesses, the real stories are rarely found on a popular YouTube channel or high volume Facebook page.
When you ask beyond, "how did you get started in the paranormal", you find heartbreak, strength, love, depression, resilience and sometimes, fear.
Paranormal:
Is the connections that are everywhere.
Is the beliefs handed down for generations.
Is in our religion and cultures.
The Club House is open to those that are looking to return to the philosophy of paranormal. Those that want conversation, not to validate but to expand their exploration. And to be reminded of humantiy.
Let's get past the surface of the paranormal industry and share the real stories of life, death and the paranormal, inside The Club House Conversations!
