Dr. Thorne was on the cusp of perfecting his Chronos-Sphere, a revolutionary device capable of stable, localized time travel. However, a sudden, catastrophic energy surge has thrown the Chronos-Sphere into a volatile state, creating a localized temporal rift.
You are Dr. Thorne's most trusted apprentices, called upon in this dire emergency. Upon entering his lab, you find it in disarray. Temporal anomalies flicker through the room, objects appear and disappear, and the very fabric of reality feels thin. The Chronos-Sphere is glowing erratically, and a garbled distress message from Dr. Thorne himself echoes through the chamber: "The flux… unstable… temporal paradox imminent! Must… realign… stabilizers… send… warning… to… past…!"
